Sorry to hear about Rod. I think he grew up to be some kind of genius. He lived up the street from me and when we were little, he would often come to play at my house. The favorite was army doctor and army nurse. We also built a 4 ft boat, painted it bright orange and dragged it to Biola Creek for its maiden voyage. Thanks for the memories, Rod, my childhood friend.♡
I am saddened to hear of Rod's passing. We were teammates for 4 years on the wrestling team. He was an inspiring and friendly presence, and one of the leaders of our transformation from last place in our Junior year to League Champions in our Senior year.
I was glad to have known him. I'm sorry to say that I lost track of Rod after graduation. I don't think that he was at our 50th reunion, and I don't think that he had a page on our class website, as far as I know or remember. I hope that other classmates can step forward with information as to what Rod was up to in the long intervening years. Rest in peace, my old teammate...
